Stomach, meet butterflies...

The Damien Hirst x Alexander McQueen collaboration is here in celebration for 10 years of the signiture McQueen skull scarf. They each both share the reference of natural world in their work. Butterflies, spiders and other insects flood the scarves to form a kaleidoscope of geometric shapes, each creating the iconic McQueen skull motif.

Along with the launch came a short film by photographer Sølve Sundsbø. Models are draped in the silk scarves, it has an almost gritty, eerie feel... hauntingly romantic.

I visited the Damien Hirst retrospective at the Tate modern during 2012 which really changed my view on the artist...
