Christmas in Paris: Part two

Thursday, March 17, 2016

Part two of my trip to Paris! Of course with it being my first time visiting I had to be a tourist and see all the obvious sights. I got to see the Arc De Triomphe, Champs-Élysées and Eiffel Tower, to name a few. I didn't think I would get to see so much with having a shorter trip, so this made it all the better(even if it destroyed my feet).

Anyone who knows me knows of my complete love of vintage, antiques and knick-knacks. I love a good antique store, flea market or car-boot; if somethings happening i'll be there. One early morning I heard a lot of noise on the street outside my hotel and to my absolute joy a table top sale was happening. People just don't understand how happy these events make me, and this was no exception. If only I had more luggage space I would have purchased so many treasures, I did however score some beautiful yarn to take home with me for future knit projects.

On my last day I managed to visit Les Arts Décoratifs before returning home. During the Previous day I had seen a poster advertising the Korea Now exhibition that was currently on. The exhibition featured product design, graphics, textiles and fashion, I was really hoping to see a fashion exhibition whilst in Paris so this was perfect. The designs and pieces shown were really unique and inspiring, I actually ended up finding a lot of inspiration and further research for the project I was working on at the time.

Bundles of Love,
