Liverpool with LoveMonday, February 06, 2017
Although I have visited for a few short occasions prior, i'd say the first time I really properly visited Liverpool was a few weeks ago for my birthday. I literally fell in love. The most friendly, sweet city, I just did not want to leave.
Around the time of my birthday I received quite abit of bad news, so my time visiting was spent mainly comfort eating and crying(was not the best sight to say the least). In between stuffing my face however, I did manage to discover a few new places and rediscover some old favourites. The christmas markets were a absolute dream! I completely recommend visiting Bold Street, Liverpool waterfront, Albert Dock, Tate Liverpool along with many other galleries and museums. I do wish I would have had more time for some fabric, vintage and charity shop hunting, but I guess it just gives me more reason to return.
Food wise I really wanted to eat in more independent Vegan places that I can only get in Liverpool. I guess it just made it that bit more special. The first place we visited was Maguire's Pizza bar, quite possibly one of my new favourite places for the best Vegan pizza along with my new favourite food - The Pizza Dog(Veggie dog wrapped in a pizza need I say more?). We also visited the lovely Egg Cafe for the best Vegan breakfast(super friendly and super affordable) and had our first BrewDog, the Soy Division Tofu Dog was literally so tasty. I'll post more in depth on my Vegan Guide to Liverpool perhaps to show all the amazing food options but for now here's a few snaps I got back with my film:
